The material from flaming slag has obtained "Nikrolite" appellation.
“Nikrolite” is only second to corundum and diamond in solidity.
It holds out operational temperatures up to 800 degrees on Celsius.
The grades are as follows: slag casting plates and foundation blocks.
They are used as weighting materials for gas-main and oil-trunk pipelines, as skull fettling for metal parts; as pipes with diameters from 245 mm to 2 m.
